Each batch of tea used in our products brand goes through an exhaustive process of selection from teas originating from over 500 tea estates andsamples. Carefully assessed for their liquor, colour, body & aroma, each batch is personally selected & blended by our Chashi.

A “blend tea” is created by combining several different varieties of leaves. While with coffee one can enjoy “single origin” blend, created using a single type of bean, in the world of tea it is normal to combine the strengths of several varieties of leaves to create a harmony of richer flavours and aromas.

The creation of” BLENDS” is carried out by craftsmen known as “Chashi” (Tea masters). The flavour of tea leaves changes minutely depending on the season, or even day, depending on when they are harvested. To make sure that the flavour is uniform throughout the year, the attributes of each tea leaf is examined using sight, smell, taste, and even touch. The result is tea that fully utilizes the strengths of each leaf
