Our first event with the brand chiran was Japan habba in Bangalore. We got to serve iced matcha lattes and hojicha lattes at the event. We had an overwhelming response to the event and sold out in a couple of hours. This event gave us a venue to understand our audience.

As part of awareness for Japanese teas and good quality matcha, one of our yearly activities is Japanese tea workshops. We had our first workshop in Bangalore at 2 locations over 2 days. We had a huge response from the people of Bangalore to attend the workshop.
The agenda of the workshop was introducing various types of Japanese teas, history, interactive taste testing and matcha whisking.

One of our objectives at Chiran is to introduce Japanese tea culture to restaurants and hotels in India, as such we had a workshop with JIMS college for its hotel management department.
We had a theoretical and interactive session with the final year students of the department to introduce Japanese teas.

Our last event for 2023 was Konnichiwa Japan hosted by the World heritage academy in Saket. The event was a cultural exploration of Japan, with performances by Japanese artists, activities and cuisine. We had a great time serving Matcha lattes to attendees and introducing various Japanese teas.

The Namu Recommends Vegan Market held in Bangalore in July 2024 presenting our range of loose leaf teas and matcha.
- We introduced a Matcha Refresher made with matcha powder and coconut water.
- Additionally, we served vegan matcha lattes
The market provided an excellent opportunity to engage with a niche audience interested in vegan and healthy lifestyle choices.

In India, the Embassy of Japan celebrated the Emperor of Japan’s birthday, also marking the 5th year of the Reiwa period. We were invited as part of the exhibit for at the residence of the ambassador along with various Japanese companies. We were happy to showcase our products to the ambassador and the delegates of various countries who attended the event.

On July 15, 2024, Chiran Tea hosted a Japanese Tea Workshop at the Dia Park Hotel in Gurgaon. This workshop was designed to introduce the rich tradition and diverse flavors of Japanese teain India.

2 full days of Japanese culture and fun at Pacific mall Tagore Garden. A celebration of Japanese events, food and culture at mela mela mela Japan. We served Matcha latte, matcha roll cakes and matcha tiramisu.

2 days of fun in Saket with Konnichiwa Japan. With sumos, geisha, kimonos and a lot of matcha. Our all time favorite matcha roll cakes and tiramisu made a comeback
